Job Title: Junior Associate/ Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, seeks a highly motivated and responsive Junior Associate/ Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of transactional tax experience. The ideal candidate will primarily support the Energy & Infrastructure group related to financing renewable energy assets and monetizing tax credits. They will assist in developing wind and solar projects and other renewable energy projects in energy transition, working with developers, sponsors, and investors.

  • Duties:

    • Support the Energy & Infrastructure group in transactional tax matters.
    • Assist in the financing of renewable energy assets and the monetization of tax credits.
    • Help develop wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects in the energy transition.
    • Work with developers, sponsors, and investors to ensure successful project development.
  • Requirements:

    • 2-5 years of large law firm experience focused on the tax aspects of renewable energy transactions.
    • Experience in tax equity financings and M&A within the renewable energy sector.
    • Knowledge of partnership tax or tax credit structuring is preferred.
    • Membership to DC State Bar.
  • Education/Certifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
    • Membership to DC State Bar.
  • Skills:

    • Superior oral and written communication skills.
    • Logical reasoning ability.
    • Strong research skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
