Duties

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Provide legal counsel and advocacy in disputes, litigation, and negotiations.
• Communicate with clients, legal teams, court officials, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain well-organized client files for seamless collaboration with attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with senior attorneys while developing a strong client base.
• Proficiency in managing multiple cases and deadlines.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the South Dakota Bar (required).
• Admission to the Iowa Bar is a plus.
