Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Assist senior attorneys in handling a variety of trust, estate, and fiduciary litigation cases.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant issues.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings as required.
  • Manage case files, including maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Provide clients with legal advice and guidance on estate planning and fiduciary matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and other professionals to build and support cases.
  • Stay current with legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 0-5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, or fiduciary litigation.
  • Experience or knowledge in marital property disputes, guardianships, trust modification, and reformation.
  • Background in tax and wealth transfer planning is preferred.
  • Strong academic performance and legal research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and client-focused approach.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain).
