A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Labor and Employment Associate Attorney for their Cleveland, OH office.

Job Overview:

The Mid-level Labor and Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for counseling clients on various employment matters and representing them in labor and employment litigation. This role requires expertise in ERISA litigation, along with exceptional academic credentials, a diligent work ethic, and exemplary writing and research skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to clients on a range of employment-related issues.
• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in labor and employment law.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 4-7 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
• Demonstrated experience in ERISA litigation.
• Superior academic record.
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
