Mid-Level Labor And Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Mid-Level Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join their dynamic team. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Counsel clients on employment law issues, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related matters.
• Represent clients in single-plaintiff and class/collective action employment litigation, from case initiation through resolution.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of employment-related litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
• Provide legal advice on traditional labor issues, including matters under the National Labor Relations Act.
• Handle NLRB administrative and enforcement proceedings, including preparing and presenting cases before the NLRB.
• Represent clients in labor grievances and labor arbitration proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft comprehensive legal memoranda, briefs, and other documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement legal strategies.
• Stay current with employment and labor law developments to ensure accurate and effective legal representation.
• Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and negotiations as needed.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in labor and employment law, including significant experience in employment litigation and counseling.
• Experience with traditional labor law issues and NLRB proceedings is highly desirable.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.
