Corporate Mergers And Acquisitions Private Equity Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled corporate mergers and acquisitions private equity associate attorney to join its team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions within an Am Law firm setting.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and related corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including purchase agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, and shareholder agreements.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and analysis.
• Assist with deal structuring and financing arrangements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, opposing counsel, and financial advisors.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience in an Am Law firm.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Experience working in an Am Law 100 law firm.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the DC Bar is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the DC Bar.
