The ideal candidate must be organized, able to manage a high-volume caseload and develop appropriate defense strategies. This role involves extensive client and insurer communication, depositions, motion preparation, and trial preparation across various practice areas.

Duties:

  • Prepare and manage case files from inception to resolution.
  • Develop and implement defense strategies.
  • Conduct depositions and prepare for trial.
  • Draft and argue motions in court.
  • Engage in extensive reporting and communication with clients and insurers.
  • Participate in trial preparation and courtroom representation.
  • Handle cases in practice areas including product liability, toxic tort, commercial litigation, property and casualty, construction, and general liability.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the New York and Florida State Bar is required.
  • Admission to the New Jersey, Missouri, Illinois, and/or Pennsylvania State Bar is a plus.
  • 1-6 years of experience in defense litigation preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York and Florida State Bar is required.
  • Additional certifications or admissions to other state bars are advantageous.
