Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of case management from start to finish, including depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in court, delivering oral arguments, and participating in hearings.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring favorable outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing their concerns.
  • Draft legal documents, including motions and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to strategize case resolutions and implement legal tactics.
  • Maintain case files and documentation in an organized and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense.
  • Proven ability to handle insurance defense matters, specifically bodily injury and first-party/bad faith claims.
  • Strong experience in motion practice and trial preparation.
  • Comfortability handling depositions, oral arguments, and client communications.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar license in Arizona (additional state licenses a plus).
