A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Mid-Level Mergers And Acquisitions/HSR Antitrust Associate Attorney.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will participate in all aspects of the practice, taking on significant responsibility across various complex and fascinating matters.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to mergers and acquisitions, HSR, and antitrust matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
  • Assist in due diligence investigations and compliance reviews.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies and provide counsel to clients.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and hearings.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, HSR, merger compliance, and transactional counseling.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Bar admission in Washington, DC, or the ability to waive in required.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in Washington, DC, or waiving ability is required.
