Duties:

  • Manage and oversee legal issues involving family members, including divorce, custody, and estate planning.
  • Direct and supervise mediation sessions, offering sound legal advice to clients.
  • Prepare, file, and maintain all official legal documents for family law cases.
  • Collaborate with legal staff to develop comprehensive case briefs for trials.
  • Represent clients in hearings, court proceedings, and conferences.
  • Respond promptly to client needs and concerns.
  • Oversee and manage the family estate and will-related cases.
  • Attend trials and provide legal representation during court proceedings.
  • Keep clients regularly informed about the status of their cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in family law, including hearings and trials.
  • Trial experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple cases in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation, debating, and persuasive techniques.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law from the Florida State Bar Association.
