A law firm seeks a junior-level partner with extensive experience in regulatory compliance within health care law to join its Health Care Practice Group in Albany, NY. This role presents a unique opportunity to represent sophisticated healthcare clients across various matters and contribute to a robust practice, with the potential for leadership responsibilities.

Duties:

  • Represent healthcare clients in a wide array of regulatory compliance issues and legal matters.
  • Support and enhance the firm’s health care practice by collaborating with team members on complex cases.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and insights on health care regulations to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to effectively understand and address their needs.
  • Lead initiatives within the Health Care Practice Group to further develop the firm's capabilities.
  • Stay informed about evolving health care laws and regulations to ensure comprehensive client support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in health care regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of working with healthcare clients on regulatory issues.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • A portable and growing book of business is desirable, though not a strict requirement.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New York State Bar is required.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective client interactions.
  • Ability to foster client relationships and provide exceptional legal service.
