Job Overview

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel and transactional support for energy and infrastructure project finance deals, tax equity investments, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, financing documents, and agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver strategic legal solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Contribute to client development initiatives and support the firm’s business development efforts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client advisory needs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in energy and infrastructure law, including project finance, tax equity, or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Bar of Washington, DC, or eligibility for admission.
  • Admission to other Bars, such as California, Texas, or New York, is a plus.
