Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a driven and experienced Litigation Attorney to join its personal injury litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional passionate about advocating for individuals impacted by negligence. The selected candidate will lead a docket of personal injury matters, guiding each case from the early stages of litigation through potential resolution, all while working within a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Duties:

• Take ownership of personal injury files from initiation through trial preparation or settlement

• Compose a wide array of legal documents including complaints, motions, responses, and other pleadings

• Conduct and defend depositions involving witnesses and subject matter experts

• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and reviewing written discovery and related correspondence

• Participate in mediation sessions and actively negotiate favorable settlements

• Represent clients in motion hearings and court appearances (in-person and remote)

• Develop case strategies in partnership with senior litigators

• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients to relay progress and developments

• Coordinate the preparation of trial binders and related courtroom materials

• Provide oversight and mentorship to litigation support staff and legal assistants

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California, with good standing

• Previous experience handling or supporting personal injury cases, preferably for plaintiffs

• Proven ability to manage caseloads independently while collaborating across a legal team

• Strong command of legal writing, oral advocacy, and litigation strategy

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to client service and case development

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to client outcomes

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar Admission required
