Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Associate Attorney to join its Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in transactional matters, specifically in M&A and private equity. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile deals with a team of top-tier professionals.

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate complex transactional documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and related documents.
  • Advise clients on structuring, executing, and managing corporate transactions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant regulatory issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including tax, finance, and other legal experts, to ensure comprehensive solutions for clients.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in corporate law, specifically M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, with a proven ability to draft detailed, high-quality transactional documents.
  • Experience working in a top-tier law firm environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Eligible for Florida Bar admission or able to gain prompt admission.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission.
