Family Law Attorney

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team. This attorney will be responsible for guiding clients through the complexities of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in family law litigation, possess strong communication skills, and show a dedication to helping clients navigate legal challenges. Location:

• Rocky River, OH

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law cases from intake through to final resolution, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, affidavits, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings and trials, ensuring effective case presentation.
• Provide ongoing support and legal advice to clients.
• Communicate regularly with clients via in-person meetings, email, and phone.
• Collaborate with the support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate Degree.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar and in good standing.
• At least 2 years of experience in family law litigation. 
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Experience as a Guardian ad Litem is preferred, but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate Degree (J.D.)

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio State Bar (required).
