Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a qualified Associate Attorney to join its growing Privacy & Data Security and Litigation Groups. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity law, with a focus on litigation and regulatory matters. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside leading attorneys and grow within a dynamic team.

Location:

  • Radnor, PA

Duties:

  • Assist clients in ensuring compliance with U.S. and international privacy regulations.
  • Negotiate complex transactions related to the transfer and processing of personal information.
  • Support clients in responding to and mitigating cyberattacks and data exposure events.
  • Defend clients in class action litigation arising from data breaches and alleged privacy violations.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to privacy and data security matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies for resolving privacy and data security issues.

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active licensure in Pennsylvania or Maryland.
  • 1-3 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity law, with exposure to litigation and regulatory matters.
  • CIPP certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania or Maryland.
  • CIPP certification is a plus.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of privacy and cybersecurity laws.
  • Experience with data breach response and privacy litigation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters efficiently.
