A law firm in Covington, KY is seeking an Employment Litigation Partner Attorney with 10+ years of experience to perform Partner-level work in general labor and employment law. The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. They must be licensed to practice law in Ohio and/or Kentucky and possess a strong academic record with significant civil litigation experience.

Duties:

  • Draft and prepare legal briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Prepare and argue motions in court.
  • Conduct legal research and provide written analysis of complex legal issues.
  • Participate in and conduct depositions of witnesses and experts.
  • Prepare trial materials and assist at pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
  • Manage multiple employment-related litigation cases independently.
  • Respond to EEOC Charges and other administrative agency actions.
  • Multi-task, meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and representation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior partners or firm management.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in employment litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio Bar and/or Kentucky Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials and significant civil litigation experience.
  • Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Ohio Bar and/or Kentucky Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Experience in preparing for and participating in trials and hearings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law and litigation procedures.
  • Familiarity with employment-related administrative agency proceedings.
  • Strong advocacy skills and ability to argue motions effectively in court.
