Job Overview: A dedicated law firm in Boynton Beach, Florida, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in personal injury. This role involves managing personal injury cases from start to finish, advocating for clients, and supporting a high-volume caseload. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, excellent credentials, and a commitment to seeking justice for injured clients.

Location:

  • Boynton Beach, Florida

Duties:

  • Document and update case status in the case management system
  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and other litigation proceedings
  • Interview clients, witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to gather information
  • Delegate tasks and oversee a team of paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, and other support staff
  • Draft, review, and modify legal documents, including claims, motions, discovery responses, and demand letters
  • Handle PIP recorded statements and PIP Examinations Under Oath
  • Manage cases from inception through to resolution
  • Stay current with legislation and case law related to personal injury
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with clients
  • Participate in community marketing and other promotional activities for the firm

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Active Florida State Bar license, in good standing with no disciplinary history
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or related areas (e.g., medical malpractice, wrongful death)
  • Proficiency in personal injury and tort law, and familiarity with medical terminology and civil litigation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Membership in the Florida State Bar Association, with a license to practice law in Florida

Skills:

  • Strong research, negotiation, drafting, and communication abilities
  • Excellent oral and written advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume caseloads with minimal supervision
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and driven approach to long-term career goals
