Senior Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Associate to join its team. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior associates to handle a wide range of litigation matters. This role will involve representing clients in both state and federal courts, as well as participating in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in litigation, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to strategize and execute legal matters effectively.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues related to ongoing and potential litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for submission to courts and opposing counsel.
• Prepare for and attend court appearances, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on case developments and advise them on legal strategies and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure deadlines are met.
• Participate in mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations to resolve disputes outside of court.
• Review and analyze documents, including contracts, emails, and other evidence relevant to litigation matters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in litigation.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases in state and federal courts.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Ohio.

Skills:
