Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their litigation team in San Antonio, Texas. Location:

Duties:

  • Take ownership of cases from intake through resolution, including drafting pleadings, preparing and answering discovery, and managing client cases

  • Draft legal documents, including discovery, motions, and briefs to support clients' interests

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions

  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and senior attorneys to build strong, winning cases

  • Monitor and manage client care, ensuring clients receive appropriate medical treatment

  • Handle depositions, discovery, and courtroom appearances independently

  • Provide exceptional client communication and manage a high caseload

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (required)

  • Dual licensure in Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Georgia, or Arizona is a plus, but not required

  • 1-3 years of relevant litigation or personal injury experience

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Ability to manage and handle depositions, discovery, and courtroom appearances independently

  • Experience in case management and client communication

  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment

  • A passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (required)

  • Dual licensure in other states (preferred but not required)

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing skills

  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions and courtroom appearances

  • Ability to manage and resolve complex litigation cases
