Location:

Duties:

  • Manage own caseload with oversight from partners.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and responses to discovery.
  • Conduct legal research and write memorandums.
  • Attend hearings, court conferences, and depositions.
  • Participate in inspections and trial preparation.
  • Consult with expert witnesses.
  • Attend mediations and assist in trial preparation.
  • Provide litigation support and contribute to case strategy.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in medical malpractice or related litigation fields.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Must be admitted to the New York Bar (Connecticut admission is a plus but not required).
  • Ability to relocate to Purchase, NY prior to starting the role.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York Bar (Required).
  • Connecticut Bar admission is a plus.
