A law firm in Las Vegas, NV is currently seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, a deep understanding of immigration law, and the ability to manage cases from start to finish. Duties:

• Develop strategic plans and prepare clients/witnesses for court and USCIS testimony
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)
• Manage a caseload of diverse immigration matters, ensuring timely and efficient progression
• Conduct client intakes and provide consultations to detained individuals at detention centers
• Draft and review a wide range of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions
• Work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations regarding changes in immigration laws
• Provide legal analysis and advice to clients on potential case outcomes and benefits
• Prepare and submit legal briefs and motions for various immigration matters

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Immigration Law
• Proven track record of managing and advancing legal cases
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian relief, EOIR, Detained cases, and USCIS applications
• Proficiency with Case Management Software preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in the state of Nevada or the ability to obtain admission

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to handle high volumes of cases while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to navigate complex legal conversations
