Job Overview
A prominent law firm located in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its esteemed Litigation group. Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal advice.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, ensuring high standards of work and professional development.
  • Collaborate with experts to gather critical information and insights for cases.
  • Assist development, depositions, and trial preparation, including reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Help develop comprehensive case strategies, leveraging strong analytical skills and legal knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • A background in science is required, with experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is essential.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Georgia.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Additional degrees such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology are required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Georgia is mandatory.
