Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong academic record and significant law firm experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in Hatch Waxman litigation, exemplary writing and communication skills, and a preference for those with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields. The role involves drafting legal briefs, managing all aspects of fact and expert discovery, and contributing to case strategy.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Oversee and engage in all phases of fact and expert discovery.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies, with a focus on Hatch Waxman cases.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide analysis to support case preparation.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Work closely with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to build and present cases.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
• Offer detailed legal advice and updates to clients based on case developments.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
• Proven experience in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
• High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience.
• Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or a related field.

Education:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or ability to obtain licensure).
