Practice Areas Criminal Law - Defense
Woodstock office of our client seeks criminal defense attorney with 2-3 years of experience. The candidate will handle criminal and juvenile defense cases, ranging from traffic violations to felonies. Will represent clients throughout the litigation process, including negotiations, pre-trial motions, trials, and pleas, as well as the occasional appeal. Advice on how the matter will appear on their official Georgia criminal history, and the potential options to have that information restricted. Juvenile delinquency experience and school tribunal experience are preferred. Must have a good understanding of GCIC and criminal histories. Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Must be an active Member in Good Standing with State Bar of Georgia. Motions and trial experience preferred. Experience with Mac computers preferred.
The candidate should have outstanding customer service skills. Must have ability to document everything that takes place on a case and track the time spent on a case. Must be able to work independently while handling multiple files.
