This role involves overseeing personal injury cases from start to finish, including conducting legal research, drafting necessary documents, managing litigation processes, and negotiating settlements. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in personal injury law and a passion for advocating for injured clients.

Duties:

Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, from initial filing to resolution
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies
Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Handle litigation phases, including depositions, hearings, and trials
Negotiate settlements to secure favorable outcomes for clients
Provide clear and effective legal counsel to clients regarding their rights
Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and other involved parties
Stay informed on changes and developments in personal injury law and regulations

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on litigation
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state of California
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Proven track record of working independently and as part of a team
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
Trial preparation experience and courtroom exposure preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active and valid license to practice law in California
