Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex litigation cases, focusing on healthcare and/or energy sectors.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including case evaluation, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
  • Draft, file, and argue motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials, effectively advocating on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda to support case strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement case strategies.
  • Oversee discovery processes, including document review, preparation of interrogatories, and managing depositions.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and strategic legal advice.
  • Stay informed about recent developments and trends in healthcare and energy litigation.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience.
    • Preferred experience in healthcare and/or energy litigation.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and effectively represent clients in court.
  • Education:
    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Licensure and Certifications:
