Briefing and Research Attorney

A law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Briefing & Research Attorney to join its team. The role focuses on drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing support during depositions and trial. Location:

Duties:

• Draft discovery requests and responses, pleadings, motions, and responses to motions.
• Conduct legal research to assist trial attorneys in case preparation.
• Prepare for and assist with depositions.
• Support trial attorneys during trial preparation and proceedings.
• Assist in developing strategies for personal injury case litigation.
• Gain exposure to second-chair trial litigation experience.

Requirements:

• Active Licensed Attorney in good standing with the State Bar.
• 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong interest and passion for personal injury law.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing.

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and research abilities.
