Duties:

  • Assist in the firm’s litigation, transactional, and compliance practice areas.
  • Handle commercial litigation and transactional matters related to real estate, consumer finance, banking, and mortgage lending.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide written and verbal legal analysis.
  • Participate in client meetings and advise on legal strategies.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage complex legal issues and ensure favorable client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of legal experience in litigation, transactional, or compliance practice areas.
  • Prior experience in commercial litigation, real estate, consumer finance, banking, or mortgage lending is preferred but not required.
  • Must possess strong writing, analytical, and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills and client-focused approach.
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado (additional state licensure is a plus).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar (or another state bar, if applicable).

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
