Job Overview

A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled eDiscovery Attorney to join its eDiscovery and Information Management group. This position is not on the partnership track and requires expertise in all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects, work well under pressure, and demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.

Duties

  • Handle eDiscovery work on complex litigation matters.

  • Supervise and coordinate project execution to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements.

  • Serve as a point of contact with case teams, including partners, and/or clients regarding eDiscovery project execution and status.

  • Coordinate with case teams, clients, and vendors on data identification and collection.

  • Develop and oversee document review workflows, including quality control processes.

  • Manage document productions and ensure compliance with discovery obligations.

  • Provide training and guidance to review attorneys to enhance work quality and efficiency.

  • Create and maintain a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery (law firm, in-house, or government setting).

  • Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure.

  • Demonstrated leadership, research, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with persuasive influence.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. degree.

  • Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Certifications

  • Active Bar admission in the relevant state.

  • eDiscovery-related certifications (such as Relativity Certified Administrator) are a plus.

Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).

  • Experience with eDiscovery platforms and tools.

  • Strong project management and budgeting skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage vendor relationships.

  • Experience with document review, data collection, and production workflows.
