A reputable law firm with a strong presence across Texas is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its Austin office. The firm represents residential homebuilders and focuses on construction defect litigation, liens, real estate matters, construction contracts, and labor and employment law. The role involves managing all aspects of litigation in collaboration with partners and provides a dynamic opportunity for an attorney with at least three years of experience and a strong litigation background.

Location

Duties

  • Collaborate with partners on all stages of litigation

  • Conduct legal research and document review

  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and dispositive motions

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Attend inspections related to construction and real estate matters

  • Participate in trial and arbitration preparation and proceedings

  • Support clients with case strategy and legal analysis

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience

  • Background in construction law, real estate disputes, or labor law is a plus

  • Strong case management skills and ability to handle multiple files concurrently

  • Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar
