A law firm seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Class Action Attorney specializing in employment law to join its litigation team in Burbank, California. This role involves managing class action cases, collaborating with colleagues, and delivering high-quality representation to clients navigating employment disputes. The position is ideal for a skilled litigator with a strong understanding of California labor laws and a passion for defending employee rights.

Duties:

• Manage a portfolio of active class action cases, from initiation to resolution.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, and settlement agreements, with accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct comprehensive written and deposition discovery to strengthen case strategies.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, offering updates and professional guidance throughout their cases.
• Perform detailed legal research to inform case strategies and arguments.
• Collaborate closely with team members in the Class Action Department to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law class action litigation.
• In-depth knowledge of the California Labor Code and its application in employment law cases.
• Proven problem-solving skills and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership in the California State Bar.
