Job Overview

A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join their team. This position involves leading a team of attorneys, handling complex litigation cases, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in litigation, particularly in auto/trucking, construction defect, or general liability defense.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of attorneys, providing guidance and oversight.
  • Take and defend depositions, ensuring comprehensive and accurate testimonies.
  • Attend and represent clients at court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Develop and execute trial strategies and lead teams in presenting cases in court.
  • Manage a substantial caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal practice.
  • Cultivate and build strong business relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 9+ years of litigation experience, preferably in auto/trucking, construction defect, or general liability defense litigation.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
  • Proven track record of handling complex cases and leading legal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and deliver favorable client outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
