The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and manage all stages of the litigation process. This opportunity is suited for someone who can work both collaboratively and independently, while confidently interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary.

Duties

• Handle all phases of the legal process, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and court appearances.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct depositions, respond to discovery requests, and attend oral arguments.
• Develop and implement legal strategies based on extensive research of applicable laws.
• Review and analyze various types of evidence, such as videos, documents, and physical items.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and manage cases.
• Prepare detailed reports and case summaries for clients and internal use.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Ability to manage cases independently with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and writing.
• Effective communication skills for interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial officials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
