Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a junior mid-level energy and Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco, CA team. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in energy and infrastructure project finance, tax equity, and/or mergers and acquisitions. Strong academic credentials and major law firm experience are highly desired. Preference will be given to candidates who are California, Texas, New York, or Washington, D.C. Bar members.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients in energy and infrastructure project finance, tax equity, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs and case strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters and transactions.
  • Assist in due diligence processes for energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and deal closings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in California, Texas, New York, or Washington, D.C. (preferred).
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in energy and infrastructure project finance, tax equity, and/or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated record of success.
  • Experience working in a major law firm environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
