A law firm seeks an enthusiastic and driven attorney to join their practice in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a focus on Family Law. This position offers the chance to provide expert legal support to clients dealing with family-related matters such as divorce, legal separation, paternity, and estate planning.

Duties:

  • Draft and prepare legal documents for filing and necessary communications.
  • Compose pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders.
  • Liaise with attorneys, court officials, and clients regarding case progress.
  • Interview witnesses and prepare them for court appearances.
  • Ensure all prepared documents are accurate and comply with legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active license to practice law in Indiana is mandatory.
  • Experience in family law is preferred but not essential.
  • Senior Associate roles are available for candidates with five or more years of litigation experience.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must hold a valid Indiana state bar membership.
