Duties:

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications related to biotechnology innovations.
  • Conduct patentability assessments and freedom-to-operate analyses.
  • Draft and review patent claims and specifications to ensure they meet legal and technical standards.
  • Communicate with clients to gather technical information and provide updates on patent applications.
  • Collaborate with legal and technical teams to develop strategies for patent protection.
  • Advise clients on patent-related issues and potential IP risks.
  • Manage and track patent application deadlines and ensure timely responses to office actions.
  • Stay current with developments in biotechnology and patent law.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in biological sciences (Ph.D. preferred).
