Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Attorney with at least 7 years of relevant experience to join its Business Group. This position will involve working with a diverse range of small and large business clients across various industry sectors. The ideal candidate will have expertise in contracts related to the consumer goods and/or consumer products industry, including Manufacturing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Sales Broker Agreements, Raw Material Supply Agreements, Packaging Supply Agreements, Equipment Leases, Equipment Purchase Agreements, and Product Purchase and Sale/Supply Agreements. A portable book of business is required for this role.

Location:

  • Spokane, WA

Duties:

  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts for various industries
  • Work closely with clients in the consumer goods and/or consumer products sectors
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices to deliver legal solutions
  • Provide strategic advice on contract law, risk management, and business operations
  • Manage multiple client projects and individual responsibilities simultaneously
  • Contribute to pro bono and public service matters

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and risk management
  • A portable book of business is required
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law
  • Strong academic credentials with excellent analytical and writing skills
  • Client-focused approach with exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a diverse team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law
