Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Project Finance Lawyer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of specialized experience in project finance and a strong background in drafting and negotiating financing documentation.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate principal financing documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and inter-creditor agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and review project documentation to assess legal risks and compliance issues.
  • Provide legal advice and support on project financing structures and strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate legal aspects of project finance transactions from inception to closing.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
  • 5-8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on project finance.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex financing agreements.
  • Strong understanding of financial and commercial implications in project finance transactions.
