Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a talented Mid-Level Immigration Associate to join its Atlanta office. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of business immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1/2/3 petitions. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in employment-based immigration law and be ready to take on significant responsibility in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The position offers direct client interaction, exposure to Fortune 100 companies, and the chance to work with a large team of experienced attorneys and paralegals.

Location:

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1/2/3 petitions.
  • Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on business immigration for corporate clients.
  • Provide counsel to clients regarding immigration compliance, strategies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with a large team of attorneys and paralegals on complex immigration matters.
  • Take on significant responsibility in managing client relationships and providing regular updates.
  • Assist in business development and client relationship management within the immigration practice.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior associates and support staff.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of business immigration experience, with hands-on experience in H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1/2/3.
  • Strong academic credentials and a proven track record of success in immigration law.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and effectively communicate legal advice.
  • Experience working with Fortune 100 companies or large corporate clients is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta office for onsite collaboration and mentorship.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic record required.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in a relevant jurisdiction.
  • Additional certifications or training in immigration law are a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Expertise in all aspects of employment-based immigration law.
  • Proven ability to handle a large caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong client management and communication skills.
