A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney for its Claremont, CA office. Duties

  • Represent clients in all stages of pre-trial litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings and depositions.
  • Provide professional and courteous communication with clients, staff, and co-workers.
  • Conduct legal research (Westlaw/Lexis).
  • Provide sound counsel and legal judgment.
  • Maintain high organizational standards and attention to detail in case management.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the legal team.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed attorney in California, in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience in representing clients in pre-trial litigation.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Prior experience with legal research using Westlaw or Lexis.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
