Transactional Law Attorney

A law firm in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Transactional Law Attorney with extensive experience in business and commercial transactions, discrimination law, and ideally, employment law. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and exceptional skills in research, writing, and communication.

Job Details:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in transactional matters, focusing on business and commercial transactions.
• Advise clients on discrimination law matters and potentially other areas of employment law.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and NuLaw for efficient legal practice.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in Ohio or eligibility for admission to the Ohio Bar.
• 5+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm setting, with a focus on transactional law.
• Proven expertise in business and commercial transactions; experience in discrimination law is highly beneficial.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal practice management software like NuLaw.
