Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Attorney to join the team. This role will involve performing audits, reviewing cases, and working with assigned teams to ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures. The attorney will assess areas of non-compliance, provide guidance, and ensure that deadlines are met.

Location:

  • San Antonio, TX

Duties:

  • Perform audits and case reviews for assigned teams.
  • Meet with teams weekly to ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Assess areas of non-compliance and work with teams to address and rectify issues.
  • Ensure that cases are being handled in accordance with legal requirements and firm standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to assigned teams to help maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to assess compliance issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and a good driving record.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed in the U.S. and in good standing.
  • 0-3 years of personal injury law experience.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar license (Texas preferred).

Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
  • Strong legal writing and research skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
