Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload involving toxic torts, product liability, personal injury, and complex litigation matters.
  • Engage in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediation, motions practice, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and investigation to support case strategies.
  • Analyze scientific and technical issues relevant to toxic tort cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related materials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment under the guidance of experienced litigators.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to seek admission without examination.
  • 2-5 years of previous law firm experience focusing on toxic torts, product liability, personal injury, or complex litigation matters.
  • Proficiency in pre-trial discovery processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to seek admission without examination.
