A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced attorney to join its team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of legal experience and a passion for helping clients navigate financial challenges. While prior bankruptcy experience is not required, the firm provides comprehensive hands-on training. Duties:

  • Consult with clients to evaluate their financial situations and provide guidance on available options.
  • Develop customized strategies and plans to address clients' financial needs.
  • Draft and review court filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
  • Collaborate with co-counsel and colleagues on case strategies and legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with bankruptcy trustees, judges, and other legal professionals.
  • Continuously learn and apply bankruptcy law, including codes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Utah.
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably with a background in bankruptcy or related fields.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a legal team.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
