A law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Complex Insurance Fraud / Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team in Uniondale, NY. The successful candidate will handle challenging and demanding litigation work, with responsibilities spanning all aspects of investigation and litigation in both state and federal courts. Excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and a commitment to excellence in litigation are essential for this role. Experience in insurance and/or healthcare fraud is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of investigation and litigation in both state and federal courts.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support complex litigation cases.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Develop and execute effective case strategies in complex insurance fraud and commercial litigation matters.
  • Work closely with clients, providing legal advice and counsel on litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting complex litigation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in complex litigation.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage demanding and challenging litigation work.
  • Experience in insurance and/or healthcare fraud is a plus.
  • Admission to the Bar in New York.
