Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support in family law, personal injury, and civil litigation matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare related documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Prepare legal documentation, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop legal strategies and assess case viability.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable client outcomes.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case status and progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience in family law, business litigation, criminal defense, or civil litigation.
  • Proven ability to provide sound legal advice and perform detailed legal research.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
