The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of legal experience and be licensed to practice law in Oklahoma (or be willing and capable of obtaining licensure). Duties:

  • Meet with clients to assess the details and merits of their cases.
  • Conduct legal research using legislation, case law, and other resources to determine appropriate strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, reports, and appeals.
  • Represent clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
  • Advocate for clients in criminal matters or seek solutions in civil cases.
  • Keep the managing attorney updated on case developments.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of client data.
  • Log hours and case details using the MyCase practice management system.
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant legislation and legal precedents.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law.
  • Admission to the Oklahoma Bar (or ability to become licensed in Oklahoma).
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and handle a variety of legal matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with case law and legislation in relevant practice areas.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
