A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Associate Attorney specializing in commercial real estate finance litigation and related transactions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in this field or a strong interest in focusing on this area of law. Experience in bankruptcy litigation is also desirable.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee teams and lead various projects, including litigation document management, filings, and other legal projects.
  • Draft complex motions and related processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including preparation of ancillary filings and other trial-related tasks.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze issues, and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Manage client relationships and interact effectively with opposing counsel.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (active and in good standing).
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance litigation and related transactions preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent drafting skills with experience in preparing complex legal documents.
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Leadership capabilities to mentor junior associates and oversee legal teams.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic legal environment.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
