Associate Attorney for Chicago office

A law firm seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated associate attorney to join its team in the Greater Chicago Area. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting senior attorneys with case preparation, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and maintaining client interactions. Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and decision-making.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.
• Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Manage client communications, providing updates and answering inquiries.
• Organize and maintain case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate handling of legal matters.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of legal procedures, practices, and terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Prior experience in a legal environment is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field is required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is preferred.
